Candle Safety

Please follow these safety instructions at all times when burning our candles:

• Remove labels & packaging before burning
• Never burn a candle unattended
• Keep out of reach of children & animals
• Keep wick trimmed – no longer than ¼ inch
• Place candles on a flat, level, heat resistant surface
• Keep lit candles away from drafts
• When using glass candles burn until wax reaches rim of glass.
• Do not touch glass/container as it will become hot
• Never let candles burn to the bottom, Extinguish when wax reaches ¼ inch
• Never burn candles for longer than 4 hours at a time
• Ensure wax has cooled and hardened before re lighting
• Do not move candles until wax has completely hardened
• Use caution when extinguishing – do not blow out or use water; use appropriate candle snuffer or wick dipper
• Keep free from foreign objects & candle trimmings & center the wick after each burn
• When using pillar candles, burn until melted wax reaches 1cm from edge
• If pillar candles drip, extinguish, let wax harden, then re light
• Always store candles out of sunlight, in a dry cool area below 25 degrees
• Do not allow water/moisture to mix with candle
• Burn candles at own risk – failure to follow instructions could result in fire or injury
